Fletching VaneTecs

I recently received an order of VaneTec vanes and am having trouble getting them to stick well – they peel off rather easily.

I scraped off the old vanes and then thoroughly sanded the carbon Axis N-Fused shaft with 400 grit paper and wipe off the residual sanding dust with a clean rag. After the first set that didn’t stick well (could peel the vanes off after an overnight cure), I used rubbing alcohol to better clean the shaft of any sanding residue that I might have missed with the rag. I used LockTite super glue, both liquid and gel, and Gorrila super glue. These didn’t work well at all. I ended up using FletchTite Platinum and that seems to work better. I glued the vanes with a right helix clamp on my Jo Jan hoping the added spin might improve accuracy. However, the FletchTite takes longer to cure. I hold it in the clamped position for a minute, so I’m looking for something better and quicker.

I’m thinking of getting some AAE Fastset glue. What would you recommend?

Thanks for your help.
