I am putting in for a draw this year in CA want to do a BP rifle hunt, any suggestions first year draw no points

basicly this is the blm maps of the usa with satalite pics this should help alot for the public land hunters.

I’m planing a pig hunt near Paskenta. This is an area I’m not familar with but went to once. I had a BLM map of the area but can’t find it. There was a checker board BLM area before the foot hills. Is this acessable to hunting? Where can I find this map again, I can’t find it on the web? Have and suggestion for a place to hunt or camp?

I have read reports of Indians and local residents going out and shooting up hillsides to sabotage hunters in D16. Can anyone report specific areas this occurs. I am looking into hunting a remote area yet bordering and indian res in the fall. We should get the video cams out and report it to the Sheriff as well.

Hey guys my father in law aske me this over the weekend and i cant find anything. He just has the humming bird wide eye unit no cables no mount or transducer. He asked me to try to find them and price them out but i cant find any so i thought i put a post up and see were there goes Thanks alot Andrew

Slide adjust distance sight. Single cross hair style rest that you put a piece of masking tape on the back sight in at a distance mark it, then sight in at a different and mark it there. great for beginners, range shooting or for the avid hunter. OH I cant find both of the mounting screws, I’m looking for the second now. $25tyd

Has anyone tried the Hevi-Shot Hevi-13 Turkey loads? Whats everyones opinion about them? I ordered a box in 3" and 3.5". In the past i’ve just used the winchester turkey loads but i’ve seen a lot of advertisement for the Hevi-Shot brand and thought i’d give it a try. Ive never shot 3.5" shells out of my mossberg 935 so hopefully my shoulder doesn’t fall off.

This is what I did today. I finally stained the Plaque for the deer I got this year in Illinois. I still need to bleach the skull but I have been lazy and deer hunting on my free time. Now I have 3 weeks to wait till turkey season I have some free time to get all the stuff i need to get done.
