So my sister and I were talking. She is a school teacher. One of her colleagues has a student in her class named Harry Beaver. It is a junior high school. The kid is getting picked on relentlessly. I am dead serious and the name is his actual name, not a nick-name. They are trying to figure out strategies to help the kid deal with all of the bullying.
What parent in their right mind does that to a kid?
Reminded me of “A boy named Sue”. My only comment back to my sister was to adapt a line from the song to fit the situation…I told her I guess he better get tough or die and its that name that will make him strong.
I mean seriously people…What were they thinking?
