This has nothing to do with shooting, but when you guys do shoot tight groups when your carbon arrows are hitting each other take the time to inspect the arrow shafts that get banged up. That little bit of time inspecting your arrows for fractures and cracks will keep you from having a bad day. OUCH!!!

Lead Free Ammunition on your next hunt.

This video has a compelling argument regarding lead ammunition and it’s effects on our wildlife. I only want to kill the animal I’m hunting, not have secondary poisoning of our eagles, vultures and other scavengers on the offal left behind. The Peregrine Fund held an important conference on lead ammunition and it’s effects on non-target wildlife. The proceedings are on their website www.peregrinefund.org.
Just read the lead precaution literature that is included with your gun service manual and you will see just how we need be extra cautious about the use of lead ammunition.

I shot this bow and the Maxxis as well and I do have to say the Matrix definitely a sweet bow, but I don’t think I’m dropping 1500 bucks anytime soon on one. They need to get that price down in the 900 buck range and they would see a heck of a lot more of those bows.
Best Target for the Money

For this season I’ve upgraded from my low poundage slow shooting bow to a higher poundage fast shooting bow. What do you know, getting that time of year to get her dialed in and the arrows blow right through my old target. So now I’m in the market for a new one. What’s the best block style target for the money? I don’t mind spending the extra $$$ as long as it’s worth it.

Anybody have one for sale. My reconstructed shoulder just won’t pull a bow….even a kids bow. I have the exemption but 6 or 8 hundred on a bow will likely get me nowhere at home! Any help?
